MPP Recovery Project
A short documentary about the Mountain Pygmy-possum Recovery Project, a five-year conservation initiative involving North East CMA, government agencies, conservation organisations and Traditional Owners. I worked on the art direction, filming and editing, bringing together the people, landscapes and conservation work behind the project.
The film was created as part of a different approach to environmental storytelling, combining art and science to make something informative but also beautiful.
It was originally scheduled for a ministerial screening and artist's talk with Federal Environment Minister Sussan Ley. Due to COVID restrictions, the film was instead launched online via YouTube in April 2021.
